How we created change
These programs are no longer running in their original form. They remain here as a record of the Foundation’s work and impact.
Adopt-A-School
In- and after-school programming for at-risk Clark County schools: backpacks, camps, cheer, essay contests, and parent-principal-pupil family nights for grades 6–8.
Summer League Jr. NBA
A sixteen-team middle-school basketball league serving under-resourced students, with academic eligibility standards exceeding CCSD’s own and a Play It Forward service requirement.
Court Science Classroom
Hands-on STEM learning built around the game, connecting classroom science to what happens on the court.
On-Air Classroom
Hands-on sports broadcasting, video production, and radio play-by-play delivered with the Desert Pines High School magnet program.
Sports Science Classroom
An interactive academic and surgical sports-medicine lab uniting physicians, clinicians, and athletic trainers around real injury cases during NBA Summer League.
Stars of Tomorrow Scholarship
Four $1,000 college scholarships for Nevada seniors pursuing STEM, media, sport, medicine, or education, awarded with the Public Education Foundation.
