Next Move Arcade Jam
Code Your Future. Where gaming culture meets the game: youth build and play their own video games through code, then bring them to the NBA Summer League stage.
The Vision
Introduce coding structure, demonstrate the software, and set the goals students will hit.
The Prototype
Students storyboard their game and build their first working prototypes with mentor support.
End Screen
Students present their finished games to a board of community-partner judges at NBA Summer League, and their games go playable on the Summer League floor.
Clinical Access Program
Introduction, demonstration, execution. Hands-on exposure to sports medicine and surgical careers for aspiring young health professionals, including a Summer League Sports Medicine Series with working physicians.
Introduction
A set of cadavers (shoulder, knee, and ankle) plus an intro to anatomy before students step into the lab.
Demonstration
Instruction on navigating the body, the use of surgical instruments, and their real-life implications.
Execution
Guidance through real surgical implants, examining specimens, and hands-on surgical techniques.
Next Move Media Academy
Training the next generation of youth storytellers across filmmaking, video, and digital media, culminating in a commercial that ran on the Summer League jumbotron.
