City of Las Vegas · The Gas Station Studios · Arts & Technology

This generation consumes and communicates through content. Next Move Media Academy exists to move students from simply watching media to actually creating it, inside a real studio, on real equipment, to real professional standards.

The goal is career exposure as much as craft: video production, sports broadcasting, esports, entertainment, marketing, streaming, and digital storytelling are all live career paths in Las Vegas, and most students have never been shown the door.

The curriculum

1. The Vision · Directing

Leading the set, framing the narrative, and bringing a creative concept to life from the page.

2. The Look · Camera & Lighting

Mastering shot types, understanding how angles invoke emotion, and painting a scene with light.

3. The Sound · Audio Engineering

Rigging lavalier mics, operating boom sticks, and capturing crystal-clear audio on location.

4. The Climax · Commercial Production

Collaborating as a full crew to produce a high-impact, professional-grade commercial. Student work has run on the jumbotron during NBA Summer League.

What students take with them

Every participant finishes with hands-on experience across the full production pipeline and professional-quality work for their creative portfolio. Alongside the Academy, TSF’s On-Air Broadcasting & Film track puts students inside a live broadcast studio writing scripts, hosting segments, filming, editing, and producing broadcast-ready content across a 13-week curriculum.

Built with our partners
