The Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation participated in the 38th annual MLK march in Las Vegas. This was TSF’s ninth year participating in the parade and over 150 people from our foundation were in attendance.
All of our programs were on hand, including TSF’s Pure Joy Choir and students from Adopt-A-School program. Pure Joy Choir performed all along the 1.5 mile route and was selected to sing for the judges and media during the parade.
The Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation’s 2020 parade theme embodied the global message of Martin Luther King, “Dream Until Your Dream Comes True.” This year’s entry showcased the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League, Summer League Jr. NBA, Pure Joy Choir and our community partners from Findlay Toyota, Fremont Middle School, U.S. Army Recruiters, Response and Relief Foundation, Vegas Nonstop and Veterans Village.
TSF was grateful to be a part of the parade that brings Las Vegas together to celebrate the dream of world peace, acceptance, and equality in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and looks forward to continuing that dream throughout the year to the Las Vegas community.
