The 2025 NBA 2K Summer League kicked off with the Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation Summer League Anthem Idol Winner Jasmine McCormick performing the National Anthem.
In partnership with the Clark County School District, the Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation (TSF) proudly presented the Anthem Idol Auditions, celebrating local youth talent and the power of performance on one of basketball’s biggest stages.
Held on June 2, 2025, the auditions invited 30 students ages 10 to 17 from across Southern Nevada to showcase their vocal talents before a panel of nine professional judges from the music and entertainment industry. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, nerves, and the shared joy of young performers stepping into their moment.
From those auditions, five talented finalists were selected to perform the National Anthem during the Pavilion Talent Showcase at Summer League, giving fans and families the chance to experience their extraordinary voices.
The competition reached its crescendo when 16-year-old Jasmine McCormick, a standout student from the Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts, was crowned the 2025 Anthem Idol winner. Jasmine’s moving rendition of the National Anthem on Opening Day at the Thomas & Mack Center brought the crowd to its feet and set the tone for an inspiring start to the Summer League.
