At this year’s NBA 2K26 Summer League, the spotlight wasn’t just on rising basketball stars. The first ever Pinkbox Puppy Race featured six adorable puppies racing across the court for an unforgettable halftime activation brought to life by the Tomorrow Stars Foundation.

The event was more than just entertainment. Through this creative partnership with Pinkbox Doughnuts, the Tomorrow Stars Foundation helped raise awareness for pet adoption while supporting the vital work of the Nevada SPCA. Special donations from TSF and Pinkbox funded rescue, care, and adoption programs, showing that the Foundation’s mission extends beyond youth development into broader community impact.

The halftime spectacle brought together community leaders and supporters, including Las Vegas City Councilwoman Victoria Seaman, Pinkbox CEO Judi Siegel, and Nevada SPCA’s Lori Heeren, along with Pinky, the sprinkle-covered mascot. Fans cheered as the pups raced toward their new homes, embodying the Foundation’s core belief: every moment, no matter how fun or unexpected, can create positive change.

Fans were given the opportunity to adopt their next pet on the concourse as well with a Tomorrow Stars and Nevada SPCA community activation.

By activating at a high-profile event like Summer League, the Tomorrow Stars Foundation demonstrates its commitment to combining creativity, community engagement, and impact. From mentoring youth and supporting education to helping pets find forever homes, TSF continues to champion opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Because for the Tomorrow Stars Foundation, every smile, every act of kindness, and every opportunity to give back counts on the court, in the community, and in the lives of those we serve.
