At the 2019 NBA Summer League, the Tomorrow's Stars Foundation hosted the Sports Science Cadaver lab at Goode Surgical in Henderson, Nevada. Alex McKechnie hosted the event along with TSF Board Member and world-renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Randa Bascharon. Harvest Mile Run 2019 Finishes Strong

TSF was honored to sponsor and participate in the 3rd year of the Harvest Mile 58k “Walk With a Purpose” benefitting the 58 victims of the 2017 One October tragedy. The TSF and Summer League Jr. NBA teams joined Sgt. Benjamin Hewitt of the Response and Relief Foundation and dozens of others at 6am on Oct. 5th to the walk through the desert to the finish line in Red Rock Canyon!

TSF Presents the ‘Stars of Tomorrow Scholarship’

In partnership with the Public Education Foundation (PEF), TSF scholarships increase access to post secondary educational opportunities available to college-bound students residing in Nevada. TSF scholarships are intended to help students pursue higher educational goals and, in many cases, make the college and university experience accessible to students who may not have the necessary financial means. On-Air Classroom Live From the Summer League Jr. NBA

Desert Pines High School Broadcast Academy students, who are a part of the On-Air Classroom, called the first game of Season 8 of the Summer League Jr. NBA, Spurs vs  Cavs with Coach Markcus and Coach Martez. The Cavs took home the win, 56-39, with a 4th quarter run. Silent Auction Benefitting the Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation Scholarship Fund

NBA players, coaches, fans, and celebrities joined in supporting the Summer League online auction benefitting the TSF Student Scholarship Fund. Autographed merchandise, basketballs, jerseys, sneakers and art were displayed on the concourse and available for on-line auction bidding. 100% of each winning bid was donated directly to the scholarship fund. Military Appreciation Day at the NBA Summer League

Recognizing and honoring our country’s active and retired military servicemen and women takes place on center court, each year, on Military Appreciation Day. TSF partners with Veterans Village of Las Vegas, throughout the year, and honors veterans residing at Veteran's Village during Summer League. Veterans honorees are selected from all branches of service and represent duty from WWII, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, military conflicts and service at home. Local Youth Leaders Paving the Way for our Stars of Tomorrow

Recognizing their tireless dedication to the youth of the greater Las Vegas community, eight men and women were recognized for their commitment to youth sports during a half-time presentation on Coaches Appreciation Day. The honorees were selected for their years of service, commitment to providing opportunities for our local youth, and desire to coach at the youth level. 2019 honorees included coaches from Summer League Jr. NBA,UNLV, and two former NBA players who have spent years coaching our community’s youth, Robert Smith and “Sudden” Sam Smith.
